Overview
The Teltonika RUTX11 is an industrial 4G LTE Cat 6 router with dual SIM support and Wi-Fi 5 dual-band wireless. It includes 4 Ethernet ports rated at 1 Gbps, a USB port, Bluetooth LE, and GPS, built for rugged environments with a -40 to 75 C operating range and EN 45545-2 rail certification.
Who it suits
This router is suited to industrial, transport, or rail deployments needing dual-SIM 4G connectivity with wired failover options. It fits users who need a hardened device for extreme temperature environments rather than a typical home or office setup.
Reasons to consider it
Dual SIM with carrier aggregation on Cat 6 LTE supports redundant or load-balanced cellular links. Four Gigabit Ethernet ports allow multiple wired device connections, and built-in GPS and Bluetooth LE add location and short-range connectivity options. The wide operating temperature range and rail certification point to deployment in demanding physical conditions.
Limitations and compatibility checks
There is no 6 GHz band support, so this is a Wi-Fi 5 device only. It has no PoE and no dedicated wired backhaul port, and ecosystem details are not specified, so mesh expansion compatibility is unclear.
