The eero Pro 7 is a Wi-Fi 7 mesh unit from Amazon's eero lineup, built as tri-band 2x2 hardware covering 2.4, 5, and 6 GHz. It includes two Ethernet ports with speeds up to 5 Gbps and supports wired backhaul alongside wireless mesh connections.
This unit is suited to households already using or planning to use the eero ecosystem who want 6 GHz band support and the option of wired backhaul between nodes. It fits setups where at least one wired 5 Gbps capable connection is available or planned.
It includes 6 GHz band access, which the spec confirms, and supports wired backhaul for a more stable mesh connection where cabling is possible. The two Ethernet ports with 5 Gbps max speed allow for a wired uplink or a wired device connection at the node.
There are only two Ethernet ports per unit, and no USB or PoE support is listed, so power and wiring options are limited to what's specified. It is locked into the eero ecosystem, meaning it will not interoperate with mesh systems from other brands.
