Overview
The TP-Link Deco BE68 is a tri-band Wi-Fi 7 mesh system that includes 6 GHz support and a 10 Gbps port on each unit. It is part of the TP-Link Deco ecosystem and can run in router or access point mode.
Who it suits
This system is suited to households wanting multi-gigabit wired backhaul options alongside Wi-Fi 7 features, and to users who plan to stay within the TP-Link Deco app and ecosystem. It suits setups where at least one unit can be wired for backhaul since wired backhaul is supported.
Reasons to consider it
Each unit has 3 Ethernet ports with a 10 Gbps max speed, giving room for wired backhaul or wired client devices. Tri-band operation with 6 GHz adds a dedicated band alongside 2.4 and 5 GHz. A USB port is included, and the system supports both router and access point modes for flexible deployment.
Limitations and compatibility checks
There is no PoE support, so each unit needs its own power adapter, and the operating range is listed as 0 to 40 C. As with any Deco system, it is built around the TP-Link Deco ecosystem and app rather than third-party mesh interoperability.
