The TP-Link EAP783 is a tri-band Wi-Fi 7 access point built for the Omada ecosystem, offering 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz bands and a BE22000 class rating. It includes two 10 Gbps Ethernet ports and is powered via 802.3bt PoE, with mounting options for ceiling, wall or junction box.
This access point suits buyers already using or planning an Omada network who need 6 GHz capacity and multi-gigabit wired uplinks. It fits ceiling or wall installations where PoE power delivery is available rather than standalone desktop use.
The tri-band design with 6 GHz support and BE22000 Wi-Fi 7 rating points to higher-capacity wireless handling than older dual-band units. Dual 10 Gbps Ethernet ports allow for high-throughput wired uplinks or link aggregation where supported, and 802.3bt PoE with a 39 W max simplifies power and data over a single cable.
There is no USB port and no listed wired backhaul mode, so this unit is intended for PoE-powered, wired-uplink deployments rather than mesh backhaul setups. It is locked into the Omada ecosystem, so it will not interoperate with mesh systems from other brands.
